Last night, Stylus at Leeds University Union held the famous RAG fashion show. We went behind to scenes to chat to the models, stylists and co-ordinators behind the brilliant show!

The models told us that they had to face a gruelling audition process to get the chance to model on the night. Out of hundreds, sixty lucky hopefuls were selected. They were whisked away to the GHD studio in Leeds where they were given a brand new look fit for the catwalk.

Featured design lines included the likes of Vicky Martin; a fashion label who pride themselves on individually handmaking their garments with sourced materials from Italy, France & England. And Arrogant Cat, described as ‘Arrogant by name, Arrogant by nature’. The label tars themselves as ‘a mix of street chic and divine femininity.’

The highlight of the night was a striking mini show to Lady Gaga’s Just Dance which featured a handful of models throwing out some very attractive shapes on the catwalk.

The fashion show was extremely well organised and all of the models looked fabulous. This has firmly placed Leeds University on the map for future fashion events.
